The Story Of No.29 Gin
No.29’s London Dry Gin is distilled, bottled, waxed & labelled in the Cathedral City of Exeter.
We have worked very closely with Quayside Distillery to create a classic blend of juniper, citrus burst & dry spiced easy drinking London Dry. She was first distilled in copper columns in January 2021 providing us with the first 64 bottles making up batch 1.
The name came within conjunction of our sister company Copperwood Cocktails, No.29 being the copper element number as well as copper being a huge part of the distilling process creating that smooth texture.
Make The Perfect G&T...

Pour some No.29 and top it with a Navas Premium Tonic Water.
The Cornish Spring Water Mixer provides the perfect balance for your drink, excelling that citrusy finish.
However, if you are a lover of spice, why not try your No.29 Gin with the Navas Garden Tonic creating a very special herbal gin!
Here’s a couple of recipes to get you started!
The Martini 29
There is no better way to discover the real quality of a spirit than drinking it as pure as possible. So to do that why not try our London Dry Gin as a Martini. Whether you choose to have it wet or dry, we have partnered ours up with a fantastic Spiced Vermouth as well as recommending a few drops of grapefruit bitters.
1. Soak & Stir
Grab yourself a stirring glass to create your cocktail in and half fill it with Ice. Add a few dashes of grapefruit bitters. Pour in 35ml of Spiced Scared Vermouth and stir with a mixing spoon. Leave the Vermouth in to have yours wet or by using a Hawthorne strainer throw away the Vermouth yet leaving the ice to have it dry.
Add to your stirring glass 75ml of our No.29 London Dry Gin and stir well. Once stirred, using both a Hawthorne strainer and fine strainer pour your martini into a grand martini glass!
As No.29 has some lovely citrus notes we highly recommend polishing off your martini with a twist of lemon.
The Copperwood 75
If you’re a fan of both Gin & Fizz then this right up your street! The Copperwood 75 is our take on a French 75. A perfect uplift for that celebratory glass of fizz.

Start by grabbing your cocktail shaker and half filling it with ice. Measure in 35ml of No.29, 10ml of fresh lemon juice and a dash of simple syrup. Once all in, give it a shake!

And all that is left to do is top the cocktail up with your choice of Prosecco and then garnish with some of Maddocks Farm beautiful mixed seasonal flowers.
